Indiana Drinks
All season long, I heard all kinds of great things about the drinking experience in Bloomington. Most of the suggestions we've received at every school is go to Brothers or Bar Louie or some other corporate bar, but Indiana seemed to have some true "diamonds in the rough."
Clearly, the number one/most impressive/can't miss drinking tradition at Indiana is the "Sink the Biz" game. The formal name of such a game is "Sink the Bismarck." I didn't really have the energy to research the true origins of the game, so if you're interested; research it yourself.
Basically the game consists of a bucket, filling the bucket with beer, a small glass, and a shitload of napkins.

So you fill the bucket with beer and place the small glass in the beer so that it floats upright. The first participant must hold their cup high enough so that it would be above the extended handle. They must then pour a stream of beer into the glass to begin to sink it. Not a few drops, it must be a steady stream. The goal is to sink the glass, but not to drown it. If any one player sinks the glass completely, they must drink the glass. Thus, the strategy is to pour as much into the glass as possible without sinking it to put the next player in a difficult spot. If any one player sinks the biz three consecutive times, they must drink the balance of the bucket.
As for the mention of napkins...yeah, you'll need them.

The AMF
Right across the street, you can try an AMF. AMF stands for "Adios Mother Fucker" and is a rather colorful drink that you can get at the Upstairs Bar.
We went to another bar that was called Sports and seemed to be the most happening of all of the places we stopped. Extremely reasonable pricing on everything including microbrews.

Between playing "Sink the Biz" and drinking an AMF, things can get out of hand in a hurry. If things get too out of hand, you end up embarrassed on the Big 10 Tour website. This guy was completely oblivious to the fact that Jeff and Dan were posing with him.
