Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Our first sports-related stop of the weekend was at the home of the Indy 500 in Speedway, IN (suburb of Indianapolis).
Known by some as "The Racing Capital of the World, " this place is now in its 100th year. Of course known mostly for hosting the Indianapolis 500, it is also home to the Brickyard 400.

So we paid the $3.00 to take a lap around the speedway ... in a bus. You can pay something like $25.00 for a more intense tour where you actually get your photo taken in the winner's circle among other things, but as you read on, you'll find that this was a rather expensive weekend.
Of course inside there are some additional pay to see sights as well as a giftshop. Be careful however, the attendants might get so caught up in looking at your tattoos that they sell you an incorrect ticket.
