Big 10 Football Tour

Iowa in somewhere in the middle of America. As a result, a lot of trucks drive through it.  Somewhere along the line, some genius got the idea to build the world's largest truckstop in Iowa.

While the same genius didn't come up with the idea to put a traffic light on the off ramp (we waited 10 minutes to turn left), we eventually make it to the truck stop.  While on a time crunch, we clearly had the time to spend over a 1/2 hour rushing through this mecca of travel stops.

As we walked in, we thought it was just another gift shop.  Certainly, there were a lot of awesome things to buy, such as tshirts of wolves howling at the moon.  Probably the best thing to buy however were the Jesus t-shirts.  See our recap of the Jesus t-shirts right HERE!  If you just read past that without clicking, maybe you should read about the Jesus t-shirts HERE!

At one end of the building are two large "rigs."  They actually let you climb in unsupervised to let you have your run of the cab.  Naturally we hopped in and started messing with everything in site.  We wished that we could have taken a few laps around the parking lot, but only in our dreams.  Should our current careers not work out, maybe we'll take up a life on the road.
