Breakfast Club
Before a week or two ago, all I knew the breakfast club as was a movie from the 1980's.
On every Saturday that hosts a home football game, the Purdue students, alumni, and several others all drag themselves out of bed sometime between 5 and 7 AM (yes that's AM on a Saturday morning), dress up in some sort of costume, and go out to the bars. Now much to our surprise, it wasn't just a handful of kids - it was literally hundreds of people storming the streets before it was even light out.

They were able to seriously make it feel like Halloween night by putting large tarps over the windows so that no light could get in. You can see views from the outside (to the side) and inside (below).
As soon as we got inside we found dozens of screwdrivers lined up at the bar and on tables. Luckily we were one of the few awake at 5 AM, so we got a table right away for $20 (filled with screwdrivers). It didn't take long for many Purdue fans to recognize our shirts and begin asking where Wes was. Although they didn't just ask "Where's Wes?" It was more like "Where's that (explicitive) Wes?" If you haven't heard about Wes-gate, you can read it HERE.
Apparently you are not allowed to take photos in Jake's Bar. I think my photography was tolerated until I took a photo right in one of the bartender's faces (right) while trying to photograph the Christmas Tree/Ninja duo. The problem is, how are girls supposed to get photos for Facebook if they can't take drunk photos of themselves at the bar?
As we finally decided to bring the party to a close at 9 or 9:30 AM, we were surprised to see how light it was outside. Blake posed with some teletubbies before we went up to the tailgate lot.
