Purdue Pressbox
The Purdue staff was kind enough to provide Blake with a look around their pressbox. Blake had provided me with some commentary of his tour, but it was pretty much word-for-word from the Purdue website and I don't want to receive a lawsuit for copyright infringement, so I'm just going to post his photos below & you can go to the Purdue site to read some of the specifics.
Blake's bullet points:
-One of the best press box in the Big Ten, if not the nation.
-6 levels (if my memory serves me correctly the top level was photography and videography, then media, then suites and Athletic Department offices, then banquet hall and suits, then more suites and another hall area, and then suites with an indoor and outdoor seating section).
-2 banquet halls (used for team functions, weddings, recruiting events, etc.)
-Beautiful views of the field, campus, and surrounding community (especially in the fall when the leaves are changing colors)
-Suites vary from a few thousand to $70,000+ per year (each suite has retractable windows, full bar, fully furnished, flat screen tv)

Apparently there is a wall full of plays favored by some of the best Purdue players of the past. Below Blake has a close-up of the Drew Brees favorite.

A little glare?
It would have been nice if either Jeff or Drew also went on the tour (but they were too busy charging the field) so that they could compare it to the one in Minnesota.
What appeared to be the best part of the pressbox from Blake's photos were the views of campus. I guess all of the different colored leaves don't hurt the view either huh?
Beyond just the views of campus, it appears that Blake got some other angles that most couldn't see. For one, he saw reporters swarming one of the player. Probably more importanly however, he caught this great shot of shot guy carrying a giant chicken around on his shoulders.
