Drew Cieszynski

2008 NBA Finals in L.A.
The pages that you're viewing now we dreamed up by Drew during the winter of 2009.  With the help of the friends shown below & some bad service at a local pub, it's now a reality.  This clearly isn't the first time he's dreamed big.  In 2006, he had visited all 30 MLB teams in a single season. Then in the Fall of 2007, he decided to visit all 30 NBA teams during just 1 season.  Both of these had been completed primarily on his own, with no sponsors nor financial help.  While these may seem like achievements, he credits his winning the 2000 Home-Economist-of-the-Year as his crowning achievement.  He makes one hell of a peanut-butter pie, but cooking a quality bratwurst still eludes him.

Currently 27 years old, he is an Assistant Merchandise Planner living in downtown Milwaukee (Wisconsin Badger country).  Originally from York, Pennsylvania (Penn State Nittany Lion country), he graduated from the York College of Pennsylvania with a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a focus in finance.

Drew's interests include (of course) travel, 80's hair metal (despite his lack of hair), destroying his body with tattoos and body piercings, antagonizing pets, tasting the finest coffee & microbrews (although Natty, Old Milw, & Keystone will be making appearances soon), tailgating, & pretty much anything unknown or challenging.

Favorite College team: TBD
Favorite   NFL     team: Denver Broncos

Jeff "The Beard" Harris

Picture
'Bar Golf' Green Jacket Winner
Jeff Harris (aka - D double E, Dee, Deez, Harris, the beard, that guy who has a beard and always wears Lacoste shirts), hails from the DMI (that's Des Moines, IA for those of you that are part of society) & is a graduate of Iowa State University (that's STATE).

Jeff's favorite pasttime is visiting covered bridges & ensuring that he's in the front row for every Ashton Kutcher movie.  He says the only way to communicate is via text message, so he refuses to sign up for sites such as MySpace or Facebook.  When not on the Big 10 tour, you can count on him to be playing sports (except Soccer, because God gave us arms).

In repeating his alma mater once more - He is a graduate of Iowa State University and loves the Raiders cause "Bo Knows Best."  Currently the "Connect 4" game & Bar Golf (see the green jacket to the right) title holder.

He's always desired to be a quarterback because they are either loved or hated and he identifies with that (although Drew doesn't love nor hate him).  Speaking of hate, he doesn't eat vegetables of any sort - so take his food critiques with a "grain assualt."

How to spot Jeff?  Look for a finely tuned beard and the latest Lacoste (alligator) apparel.

His favorite sport quotes include: "A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore." (Yogi Berra) & "If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything." (John Wooden)

Favorite College team: Iowa Hawkeyes
Favorite   NFL     team: Oakland Raiders

Blake Suhar

Picture
In the football gear
This 23 year old enigma is still recovering from the Door County triathalon.  Let's see if his running/biking/swimming endurance holds up during Saturday tailgating.

Hailing from Ohio, Blake (aka Su, Sumar, Black Sugar, Beefcake, Beef Nasty, Nas Tea, or Barlic), now resides on Milwaukee's East-side.  He has attended both the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee & Victoria University of Wellington (New Zeland).

From a camper-van to a long-board, whatever it takes to get out and travel this world; Blake is all about it.  Other hobbies include talking to individuals that speak with accents, coffee, watching/playing sports, eating, & lovin' livin' with this in mind:

"Live to smile about the things you did; not regret the things you didn't"

Speaking of smiling...He's been known to cause a smile or ten to those around him and calls smiling as one of his favorite hobbies.  More on the idea of positivity, Orange is his favorite color as "it brightens his life" (maybe he should be an Illinois fan?).

Favorite College team: Ohio State Buckeyes
Favorite   NFL     team: Green Bay Packers

Wes "The Bear" Givens

Picture
Wes tailgating w/ out shoes
26 Years of age, Wes Givens made the move to the ice planet "Hoth" (a.k.a. Milwaukee) in the Summer of 2006 when his job relocated.  Hailing from "The First State" of Delaware (more specifically Georgetown), Wes is more accustomed to mild winters and long summers.  The Midwest offers neither of these.

Wes is a graduate of Susquehanna University (Pennsylvania) & enjoys Sports (specifically baseball & the New York Yankees), Marvel Comics, reading, watching movies, Bud Light Lime, and talking politics.

Fun BIG TEN fact: Wes played football in middle school/high school with former University of Wisconsin offensive lineman Matt Lawrence (3 varsity letters, starting left guard)

Travel fun fact: At some point during the extravaganza, Wes will be required to drive.  Let's just hope there is no parallel parking & the roads aren't too busy.  Anyone that's ever been in a car with Wes behind the wheel can tell you that it can be a life-altering experience.

Favorite college team: University of Delaware/James Madison University
Favortite    NFL   team: New Orlean Saints

Dan  Lawrence

Picture
Clearly an Iowa guy
Although Mr. Lawrence is a part-time participant in the tour, his contributions are invaluable to the team.  Although originally from Iowa (Des Moines), he has resided in two other Big 10 regions; both in Minneapolis and now in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He previously attended Iowa University, but is a graduate of Drake University.  His accomplishments include former BTTA Tennis Champion, once took photos with 86 women in a single evening, 3 time presidential physical fitness award winner, & that fateful night where he had just enough grape soda and greasy pizza to achieve the 2nd highest score on the Adams Family pinball game at the local arcade. His interests include Minnesota Twins baseball, ping-pong, flag football, & softball.

This 26 year old was recently responsible for breaking thousands, if not millions, of hearts nationwide as his marriage license recently became official (to a woman).  Sorry ladies, he's spoken for.

As a man of the people, he spends most of his days making the world a better place by increasing efficiency at his employer.  Who knows if you would have found that sharp looking polo-shirt if this guy wasn't on the job.

Favorite College team: Iowa Hawkeys/Drake Bulldogs
Favorite    NFL    team: Minnesota Vikings
