Wisconsin Drinks

Stadium Bar
Madison has no shortness of nightlife. When the weather is rediculously cold, what better to do than have a few adult beverages. We stopped at quite a few establishments during the weekend - I'll try my best to remember all of them. Let's start with the Camp Randall bars. Right across from the Stadium is what else, the Stadium Bar! Post-game was pretty hoppin, where the cold weather kept few from hanging outside.
Another close-by place was the Big 10 Pub. I was thrilled that they had Fat Tire on tap and probably got a bit too excited because I was thrown out of this place within the hour.

Notice the Big 10 helmets
As the evening went on, we found ourselves at a place called Wando's. Not to be confused with Waldo's - I was never able to find Waldo's. I guess the "thing" here is the fish bowl. We had a couple of these fish bowls and then the night quickly got fuzzy.
It was recommended on multiple occasions to try State Street Brats. Oh boy, another place to get a Miller Lite and a bratwurst. Wow, I was seriously off on this one!
There was more than a few cows outside on the patio. I must say, cows are the tacky decoration of choice in most Big 10 towns. Beyond just cows however, they had a nice wooden Badger and this huge Bull head.
Apparently when you kiss the Birthday Bull, you get a free shot?
Their most famous drinks? The Rose Bowl and the Citrus Bowl!

Probably my favorite of the Madison, WI bars was the Old Fashioned. I think they had something like over 100 beers on tap and the prices were great. It was also here that you could get a Wisconsin-Bomb. If you've never hear of this drink, this will be one you remember. Served in a chalice-like glass, it is a PBR, or Pabst Blue Ribbon for those of you not living in society with a hard boiled egg in the bottom. No kidding.

The Nitty Gritty
So that's enough of a commentary on the bars. After that, I wasn't taking anymore notes or photos. I simply went back the next day and took a photo of many of them.
I'm sure I'll get a few..."you should've went to..." emails, but 11 weekends of traveling to new unknown places, the planning and the time constraints are catching up to me.
